So isn't it appropriate, if also utterly frustrating, that a mother who is very particular would have a daughter who is very particular. That one who adores playing with words would beget one not willing to wait for her words but so full of expression that it must all fall out at once. That she whose greatest fear is abandonment creates a child who will not tolerate being put down, is comfortable - day or night - only when held. That one who solves problems with a change of scenery should be confronted by one who detests transitions.
That she is much like me, exaggerated and concentrated. In a smaller package.
We have always said there is justice in the universe. This must be mine.
